SCORM QA
What to Test Before a SCORM Course Goes Live
Learners should not be your first QA environment.
Before a SCORM package goes live, test the package structure, imsmanifest.xml, launch file, referenced assets, SCORM version, runtime calls, completion tracking, score tracking, suspend data, and resume behavior.
Many production issues are preventable. Missing assets, broken launch paths, blocked media, unexpected external links, or incomplete status calls can be caught before the course reaches learners.
A SCORM QA report should separate critical launch blockers from warnings and informational findings, then give the producer a plain-English fix list.
Want to operationalize this?
Start with a LearningOps audit or run a SCORM package through the QA tool before it goes to production.
